Formed in 2026, Abingdon Schools Group brings together Abingdon School, Abingdon Prep School and The Manor Prep School. The Group's mission is to create a family of schools with a united, long-term commitment to excellence and co-education whilst preserving the strong identity, aims and ethos of each individual school.
This new group is being created from a position of strength, bringing together three thriving schools with proud histories, strong leadership and shared values.
A fundamental principle of the Group: each school retains its own identity, ethos, branding and uniform. Families, pupils and staff can expect the same distinctive educational experience and sense of belonging that defines each of our schools.
We know how much our families value the specific character of their chosen school and we firmly believe that offering a choice of different educational environments is a core strength of the Abingdon Schools Group. We understand that what is the 'right fit' for one child may be different for another. By keeping our Prep schools distinct, we ensure that parents continue to have a choice of exceptional environments.

Abingdon is a leading academically selective and intellectually stimulating senior school for boys and girls, with personal growth fostered beyond the classroom through its vast array of Other Half co-curricular opportunities. Key entry points are 11, 13 and 16, with boarding available from 13 onwards.

The Manor prides itself in really ‘knowing’ each child, building the learning journey that optimises individual progress.
